First encounter: I was 14 years old, it was the mighty Jah Shaka Sound System at the Tudor Rose, Southall, West London

Inspo: A sound system that can entertain with selection from old til new, and which can play a bassline through valve power, a rare combination these days! From what I've seen online, Ras Albert (Jah Life) will be playing a top tier selection of killer oldies at Valley Dub.

Inspo: I would have to say JAH shaka was obviously the foundation for me, however crucial vibes, I livity and dandelion sound all hit the point for me. Reason i get vibes from them, spiritual works with heaviest pressure. .

Marco (Bubblin Sounds)

First encounter: Bro my first proper session was in 2015 at a local event in my area in Brazil, hosted by CultiveDub Sound System. 

Inspo: Dancehall selector named Raphael aka Lean Dog. he was well known in São Paulo, and after seeing his session, I completely fell in love with sound system and dancehall culture. Lean Dog has passed away unfortunately, but his vibe still lives on in our hearts. Bubbling Sounds was founded by me and my brother, Vini Rasta, who’s still based in Brazil playing at dancehall parties across São Paulo’s ghettos and city centre.

ShaneO (Celtic Roots Hifi)

First encounter: Was the mighty Revelation Sound in Cork city, Ireland about 17 years ago, in a random small bar down a side street, with all the windows rattling! I was into reggae before this, but was instantly hooked by the presence and delivery of the soundsystem and it change the course of my life for the better 

Inspo: Revelation has been my main influence in building my own soundsystem, but I get inspiration from many different crews that I see in the physical and online. Jah Life international in particular has been one I've been longing to see for a long time now, so it's sure to be a special session that Peoplemover has curated.

Stevie Dub

First encounter: my first proper Soundsystem encounter was Notting Hill Carnival in 2003. I was blown away by the vibes and how many different sounds were set up. it was a big inspiration for me to start building speakers myself

Inspo: I'm always inspired by Stand High Patrol's output. I love how their aesthetic follows through all their releases musically and visually. They have a really strong and unique vibe

First encounter: with a proper sound system was the Inner West Reggae Disco Machine 

Inspo: Honey Trap Sound System and Housewife’s Choice are inspiring to me. Always have love for Pete Strong and the Sunny Bins solar setup. And I love the El Gran Mono Pico Sound!
